BLACK LIVES MATTER
Pride Alliance stands in vocal solidarity with the call to justice over the tragic losses of black lives. George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, and Ahmaud Arbery are some recent examples of innocent lives lost following acts of police brutality and racial injustice. The mission of Pride Alliance is to provide safe spaces for marginalized communities. The foremost goal of Pride Alliance is to offer a place of inclusion for all identities. We stand in unity with the entire Black community and honor the importance that Black trans and queer lives have had in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. Pride Alliance will continue to strive for equality and inclusion for minority communities on Georgia Tech’s campus. Black Lives Matter.
Pride Alliance is a Georgia Tech student organization for LGBTQIA students and their allies. You are welcome to attend any of our meetings! We host discussions, planning meetings, game nights, movie screenings, potlucks, and more. At the beginning of the school year, we have a series of Welcome Week events. Every October, we celebrate Out Week as well as march in the Atlanta Pride Parade.
Scout Memorial Bench Fundraiser
Pride Alliance is raising funds to procure a permanent memorial for Scout. We are working to secure a permanent memorial bench outside of Van Leer, their major building. Scout was an excellent student and an inspiring activist. Any extra funds will be put towards Pride Alliance programming. We are hoping this bench will provide a place for students, faculty, and staff to reflect.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a supportive and educational environment for our members and non-members alike; to function as a resource for those who want or need information about LGBTQIA related issues; and to provide a positive LGBTQIA awareness and presence at Tech.
